Julie joins the UGA SBDC as the business advisor for Columbus, Georgia, and surrounding areas. She brings more than 20 years of communications, management, and marketing experience to her role.
Prior to joining the SBDC, Julie spent 15 years working for both The Gillette Company and Procter and Gamble. She has presented educational presentations to professionals in trade shows across the country on topics such as business development and strategic planning to effective brand management and social media marketing.
Her extensive business and educational background, as well as her own experience as an entrepreneur, enables her to help Georgia small businesses succeed. Julie is a native of Georgia and she enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, and being outdoors.
The UGA SBDC in funded through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
