The UGA SBDC works to provide business training and consulting assistance to veterans successfully growing and starting a small business. UGA SBDC consultants help veteran-owned small businesses improve profitability, expand market share, explore export opportunities, and provide valuable assistance in terms of establishing businesses on stronger organizational and financial footing.

The UGA SBDC has 18 locations staffed by experienced business professionals who are dedicated to helping veteran-owned businesses succeed. From 2013 to 2015, the UGA SBDC has consulted with more than 1,300 veterans and has assisted them in securing more than $42 million in capital. Additionally, the UGA SBDC has provided business education to over 2,200 veterans through business training programs held across the state of Georgia.
