Join the UGA Small Business Development Center at Kennesaw State University, in partnership with the U.

S. Small Business Administration (SBA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA), for the SBDC Lenders' Training Conference. This in-person professional development event is designed specifically for commercial lenders, SBA lenders, credit officers, community bankers, loan officers, economic development professionals, CDC representatives, and other financial partners. 

This comprehensive training conference will provide attendees with the latest updates on government-guaranteed lending programs, emerging financing opportunities, and key resources available to support small business growth throughout Georgia and the Southeast. Conference sessions will include:
• SBA National Updates
• SBA Rural and Manufacturing Lending Programs
• SBA 504 Loan Program Updates
• SBA International Trade Financing
• USDA Business & Industry (B&I) and other Programs
• Georgia SBA Updates
• State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) Financing Programs
• Networking opportunities with federal, state, and local business development partners

This conference is open to commercial lenders, SBA lending professionals, community bank representatives, credit union executives, economic development officials, and government lending partners from across Georgia. There is no cost for attendance for government-guaranteed lenders and financial partners, and lunch will be provided by our sponsor, Capital Partners Certified Development Company.

Daniel McCoy, a Senior Business Consultant at the UGA Small Business Development Center, Kennesaw State University, leverages over two decades of banking expertise, specializing in Commercial/SBA lending and financial advisory. With a solid foundation built over 10+ years in upper management in retail, Daniel seamlessly blends strategic acumen with operational finesse. His proficiency extends to human resources, grant research and government contracting, Daniel holds a BA degree from Covenant College and an MBA in Accounting from Benedictine University and is a SHRM Certified Professional and member in the National Society of Leadership and Success.

The UGA Small Business Development Center is a Public Service and Outreach unit of the University of Georgia.
