Lauren Barlow works with University of Georgia Procurement Office’s Supplier Strategy and serves as the Programs Specialist.  She supports sourcing initiatives and supplier engagement. Her role develops supplier programs, strengthens partnerships, and promotes opportunities for local businesses while enhancing procurement processes and ensuring compliance.

Tulu Kaifee is the Procurement and Finance Specialist at the UGA SBDC. She joined the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center’s Specialty Programs Division in October 2023 as a procurement and finance specialist. Tulu has spent over 20 years in the financial services industry with experience in the consumer, small business and commercial lending segments serving entrepreneurs across Georgia. 

Madeline Velez Headshot

Madeline Rosa Velez

Madeline is a business consultant with the Athens office, bringing over 20 years of experience in mentoring and serving others. Her background includes financial management, insurance, banking, compliance, real estate, debt management, housing and credit counseling, and business development. She is passionate about supporting the community and mentoring individuals, families, and small businesses at all stages. Originally from Puerto Rico, Madeline is fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
