This course is designed specifically for small business owners and entrepreneurs seeking to understand and access various funding options. The course will discuss the ins and outs of the different types of capital, including SBA-guaranteed loans, traditional bank loans, non-traditional funding sources, equity, and little-known specialty lending programs, and weigh the pros and cons of each. The course will also highlight the financial management strategies that help owners think like a lender and ensure their business is lender ready.

Angelika Ozier is a Business Advisor for the UGA SBDC serving the University of West Georgia and Clayton State University regions. With nearly 20 years' expertise in academic and financial advisement, budgeting, and commercial banking, Angelika excels in client development, business services, and commercial loan documentation. Her University of West Georgia background includes diverse roles in academic advisement and budget management. Angelika earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of West Georgia in 2007.
