This course is designed specifically for small business owners and entrepreneurs seeking to understand and access various funding options.
The course will discuss the ins and outs of the different types of capital, including SBA-guaranteed loans, traditional bank loans, non-traditional funding sources, equity, and little-known specialty lending programs, and weigh the pros and cons of each.
The course will also highlight the financial management strategies that help owners think like a lender and ensure their business is lender-ready.

Musashi Uchida is a business consultant at the UGA Small Business Development Center in Gwinnett. He has over 20 years of experience in small business, with a focus on sales and operations. As a managing partner, he helped grow a small martial arts studio in Peachtree Corners into one of the largest in the southeast. Prior to that, he was successful developing new business and sales as an account executive for an enterprise IT hardware start-up company in Norcross.
Uchida's areas of expertise include sales, business development, customer success, international trade, event marketing, strategic planning and business operations.
