Successful Smiles Pediatric Dentistry was founded on a simple but powerful mission: helping children feel valued, cared for, and confident. Located in Ellenwood, Georgia, the practice is owned by Dr. Cassandra Maupin, her husband Gabriel Maupin, and her father Kenneth Stewart. While Dr. Maupin’s dental education prepared her to care for patients, building and growing a business required additional expertise.
That support came from the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (UGA SBDC) at Clayton State University. Working with business consultant Richard Schnitker, the Successful Smiles team received guidance on business planning, demographic research, website optimization, and marketing strategy. The insights helped the practice better understand its target market, strengthen its online presence, and connect with more families in the community.
