Lisa Rackley is the area director and a senior business consultant at the UGA SBDC in Macon, serving small businesses in Middle Georgia. With her assistance, Lisa’s clients have successfully started over 200 new businesses and have obtained over $96 million in capital from banks and investors.
Prior to joining the SBDC, she worked in Human Resources for a global manufacturing facility. Her previous experience includes working with consulting firms specializing in retirement and disability plan administration.
Lisa has created and presented educational workshops to audiences throughout Georgia and beyond, including at America’s SBDC national conferences. Her presentation topics covered areas such as talent recruitment and retention, effective job descriptions and HR best practices. She was recognized in 2021 as the University of Georgia SBDC Consultant of the Year and by America’s SBDC in 2022 as the State Star for Georgia.
