Phil brings over 35 years of executive leadership experience to the University of Georgia SBDC. He has a proven track record in the areas of strategic growth, revenue enhancement and cost containment, customer service excellence, team building/leadership, mergers/acquisitions and greenfield management.
Prior to joining the SBDC, Phil served as COO of a car wash company and was part of the management team that launched the express wash concept. After becoming the fourth largest car wash company in the United States, the company was acquired and he continued in a U.S. leadership role with the acquiring company post-acquisition. Prior to that he was president and CFO of a respected regional restaurant group. Phil began his career with roles in accounting/finance for a national food manufacturer and a national hospital chain.
Phil is a lifelong resident of Columbus, Georgia. He received his BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia and his M.B.A. from Columbus State University.
