Melissa Stoker joined the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center in Athens in 2012 as a Business Manager and was promoted to Administrative Financial Director in 2018. Melissa started her career at UGA in 1997 in Student Accounts, working her way up through the Budget Division (1998-2004) and the College of Pharmacy (2004-2012).
She oversees the daily running of all business functions such as requests for reimbursement, ordering supplies, and payroll. Melissa also ensures that the grant, state and foundation money allotted to the SBDC is spent judiciously.
All programs of the UGA SBDC are open to the public on a non-discriminatory basis. Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance.
