Serving a dual role with the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development and the Georgia Small Business Development Center, David Canady is dedicated to business and leadership development efforts in south and central Georgia. He is responsible for identifying consulting, training and research resources as well as assisting communities in areas of leadership development and business creation, retention and expansion.
A veteran of small business and entrepreneurship, David came to UGA with over 30 years’ experience in the private sector as a business owner and entrepreneur, an adjunct lecturer on entrepreneurship and rural Georgia economic development specialist.
All programs of the UGA SBDC are open to the public on a non-discriminatory basis. Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance.
