Tonita McKnight is a Georgia native with roots in North and Southwest Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Spelman College and an MBA from Albany State University. Tonita has over nine years of experience with Albany Community Together, Inc., where she supported entrepreneurs through coaching, connections, and access to capital. She has worked as a business consultant for the past two years with the UGA Small Business Development Center and brings experience in commercial lending, property management, program and grant administration, and economic development. She is a certified Economic Development Finance Professional (NDC) and Business Incubator Manager (InBIA).
