In this webinar, you will learn about the contracting assistance programs and socio-economic certifications available, including public certifications such as the WOSB, SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, VOSB/SDVOSB, DBE, the state of Georgia Business Certification Program, as well as private certifications such as the WBE or MBE.  

This introductory class will provide an overview of the eligibility requirements, how to apply, and how to determine which certification program is the right one for you.

Tulu Kaifee

Tulu Kaifee is the Procurement and Finance Specialist at the UGA SBDC. She joined the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center’s Specialty Programs Division in October 2023 as a procurement and finance specialist. Tulu has spent over 20 years in the financial services industry with experience in the consumer, small business and commercial lending segments serving entrepreneurs across Georgia. 

This program is funded through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration and is supported by federal taxpayer funds. By registering, you certify that you are legally authorized to receive services funded by U.S. taxpayer dollars, in accordance with applicable federal law and regulations.
