ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

The UGA SBDC at Clayton State University presents a virtual B2G Roundtable Series for a Clayton County Central Services construction, engineering, and services cohort of established Small and Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) certified firms — to improve their business readiness, development efforts, and growth.
The virtual series is designed to provide actionable insights, strategies, and effective practices from procurement, business, and construction industry experts, focusing on state, county, and municipal opportunities. The cohort is made up of sixteen participants, twelve of whom are a part of Clayton County Central Services’ (CCCS) Mentor Protégé Program (MPP). Mentors and protégés collaborate over the course of a year to address identified gaps, creating plans that enhance business operations and processes, with a primary focus on helping protégés become successful subcontractors. Participating firm revenues range from $ 750,000 to $ 42 million.
