UGA SBDC helps Georgia businesswoman build multi-million dollar steel fabrication company

Nine people posing outdoors in front of greenery, wearing casual 'WWIS' logo shirts. The person in the center front wears a red polo shirt, while others wear black, white, or blue shirts.

With UGA SBDC guidance, Virginia Murphy secured critical funding, scaled her team, and grew her steel fabrication business, Waste Water Industrial Solutions, into a thriving $4 million company. Today, she’s expanding into the aviation and equipment repair sectors and credits UGA SBDC as her “trusted advisor” throughout the journey.

The UGA SBDC is funded through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

All SBDC services are provided in a nondiscriminatory way to all legal residents and citizens in the United States. Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance.

The UGA SBDC is an accredited member of America’s SBDC.
