ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

This interactive 5-week course is designed to help business owners and small business marketers develop a practical, actionable marketing plan for 2025.

Each week, the Maximum Marketing class will break down key marketing concepts that will help participants articulate their marketing strategy and build a plan for the new year. Participants will learn to define their brand, develop content for their customers, create and measure marketing campaigns, and delegate tasks. This class will combine theory with hands-on learning and encourage participants to utilize modern, everyday marketing tools such as Canva and Chat GPT.

This class is being offered at a discounted rate thanks to a grant from the Southwest Georgia Regional Commission and Georgia AIM.

Nema Etheridge

Nema Etheridge is the area director of the UGA SBDC in Albany. She joined the UGA SBDC with more than 15 years experience working with Georgia small businesses. Prior to joining the SBDC, she served as the marketing director for a Georgia-based coffee company that serves customers in wholesale, e-commerce and brick-and-mortar settings. She has worked in a variety of roles in small business, gaining experience in branding, communications, digital marketing, restaurant hospitality and management, sales, and strategic planning. She is a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier Atlanta, is fluent in French and speaks conversational Spanish.
