Ruby Riesinger is the Area Director and a Business Consultant for the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center in DeKalb and Rockdale counties. Ms. Riesinger has been with the UGA SBDC in DeKalb since April of 2018. For the prior 4 years, Riesinger was the Director of Sales and an on-air personality for Black Crow Media in Valdosta, GA. From 2010-2014, Riesinger served as Area Director and Business Consultant in the UGA SBDC at VSU where she earned Consultant of the Year for 2013 and Flewellen Awards for 2012 and 2013. Ruby is the former Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Valdosta and Manager of Continuing Education/Community Marketing Relations for Valdosta Technical College. She has a passion for assisting small business owners survive and thrive in Georgia’s diverse economic climate. Small business owners in DeKalb and Rockdale counties in Georgia can gain access to Ms. Riesinger’s expertise in Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Advertising, Sales, Economic Development, Strategic Planning, and Customer Service through the UGA SBDC in DeKalb.
