The Value-Added Producer Grant (VAPG) program helps agricultural producers enter into value-added activities related to the processing and marketing of new products.

Valerie McElveen

Valerie McElveen is the area director for the UGA SBDC at Georgia Southern University. She specializes in assisting clients with accounting and finance strategies, including cost accounting, financial analysis, cash flow management and financial forecasting. Valerie brings a range of experience from working in a large manufacturing environment to working with local businesses. Valerie has a Bachelors of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University and she earned her MBA from Georgia Southern University.
