Megan Rivera joined the UGA Small Business Development Center in Rome as a business consultant in 2025, bringing over a decade of leadership in hospitality and eight years as a small business owner. She specializes in customer experience, marketing, branding, sales strategy, and business reinvention. Megan’s expertise in high-touch service and scalable growth supports entrepreneurs at every stage. As a retired military spouse, she has mentored others in launching businesses. In 2025, she was recognized by the Georgia Hotel & Lodging Association as a Sales and Marketing Champion for her contributions to the industry.

The UGA Small Business Development Center is a Public Service and Outreach unit of the University of Georgia.
